The University of Regina Women's Centre provides safe and supportive space for all students, regardless of gender, to access services or just come hang out and relax, read, study or visit.
At the Women's Centre you will find:
~A lounge area where you can relax and meet friends. There is also a microwave and fridge available.
~Free coffee, tea, tampons, and condoms are available.
~An alternative resource centre with feminist literature.
~Space for meetings and study groups
~Designated "quiet" room
The Women's Center provides many services including:
~Crisis counselling, referrals and information about dating, violence, sexual assault, women`s health and many more issues
~Bursaries (three available annually)
~Women Mentoring Women Program
~Parent Emergency Contact Program
The Women Centre also hosts several educational and fundraising events throughout the year that address global social issues. Watch for events through the year.
The Women’s Centre offers employment opportunities to female students attending the University of Regina throughout the academic year. Watch for our job postings! Students can also gain valuable and fun volunteer experience helping out with many of our events and initiatives or as members of our Board of Directors. Come fill out an application!
